Methodology

RecalledNow organizes recall information by category, brand, product type, common recall reason, and the consumer action step to take. Each page is designed to help you confirm whether your exact item is affected and where to verify it officially.

How we structure pages

Every recall hub groups the products it covers, the common reasons items in that category get recalled, and a clear set of steps to follow if your product is affected. Brand pages route searches for a specific maker toward the right category and official source.

Where our information points

We point users to primary official sources rather than restating unverified claims. For food and pet food this is typically the FDA or USDA; for consumer products it is typically the Consumer Product Safety Commission or the manufacturer.

How we keep pages current

Pages carry a published and last-updated date in their structured data. We review priority hubs on a regular cycle and update the date when the guidance changes.
